Purpose of Infinity

• Infinity is designed as a supplementary tool for ophthalmologists to aid in research. It leverages a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system to provide insights from academic research in the field of ophthalmology. This tool is meant to ENHANCE, NOT REPLACE, the professional judgment and decision-making skills of ophthalmologists. The tool is designed to aid in the exploration of academic literature and should be used as one of several resources available to an ophthalmologist.
   

Permitted Use

• You may use Infinity solely for lawful, non-commercial, research purposes. It is intended to support ophthalmologists by providing information that can aid in academic and clinical research. It is NOT to be used for direct patient diagnosis or treatment.
   

User Responsibilities

• Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Infinity complies with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines. Users must also ensure that the information obtained from Infinity is not used for unauthorized purposes. You are responsible for critically evaluating the relevance and accuracy of the information provided through Infinity. 
   

No Clinical Decisions

• Infinity is for RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY and SHOULD NOT be used for making diagnoses, prescribing treatments, or managing patient care.  Reliance on any information provided by Infinity is solely at your own risk.
