Amgad Mahmoud El-Nokrashy

Amgad Mahmoud El-Nokrashy is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, and a uveitis and vitreoretinal consultant at Mansoura Ophthalmic Center. Dr. El-Nokrashy graduated in medicine and surgery in 2007, obtained a master's degree in ophthalmology in 2013 with an essay on posterior uveitis, and was appointed assistant lecturer in 2013 and lecturer in 2019. The MD thesis, on new modalities in uveitis treatment, was jointly supervised by Mansoura University and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, where Dr. El-Nokrashy was an observer and researcher in uveitis from 2016 to 2018. Research covers non-infectious uveitis, pediatric uveitis in Egypt's Delta region, childhood presumed trematode-induced granulomatous anterior uveitis, uveitic glaucoma and inflammatory choroidal neovascularization, and includes co-authorship of the Egyptian consensus guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of adults with non-infectious uveitis.
