Essam Al Rubaye

Essam Al Rubaye is a specialist ophthalmologist and eye surgeon at Iris Vision Center in Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Al Rubaye holds an MBChB, the Arab Board certificate in ophthalmology (C.A.B.Ophth) and FRCS (Ed), and is also certified by the Iraqi Board in ophthalmology. Subspecialty fellowship training was in corneal disease, refractive surgery and advanced cataract surgery. Clinical work focuses on refractive and anterior segment surgery, including LASIK, implantable collamer lens (ICL) implantation, phacoemulsification cataract surgery, corneal cross-linking for keratoconus and corneal transplantation.
