Gangadhara Sundar

Gangadhara Sundar is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He obtained his degrees from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India, and completed fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, USA. He heads the Orbit & Oculofacial Surgery Service at NUH and specialises in diseases and surgery of the eyelids, lacrimal system, orbit and oculofacial conditions, including orbital trauma, thyroid eye disease and ophthalmic oncology. A former president of the Singapore Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, he is Vice President of the International Society of Dacryology & Dry Eyes and President of the Asia Pacific Ophthalmic Trauma Society. He edited the book Orbital Fractures: Principles, Concepts and Management and co-edited Ocular Adnexal Lesions: A Clinical, Radiological and Pathological Correlation.
