Hind Amin

Hind Amin is an Assistant Lecturer of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt. Dr. Amin specialises in uveitis, intraocular inflammation and vitreoretinal diseases. Recent publications include work on presumed ocular tuberculosis in an Egyptian cohort, the outcome of inflammatory choroidal neovascularization, biweekly valganciclovir prophylaxis for recurrent cytomegalovirus anterior uveitis and a review of the adverse effects of compounded topical tacrolimus eye preparations. Dr. Amin is also a co-author of the Egyptian consensus guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of adults with non-infectious uveitis and of an algorithmic approach to the diagnostic workup of retinal vasculitis.
