Jeremiah Tao

Jeremiah Tao is Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and Chief of Oculofacial Plastic and Orbital Surgery at UCI Health Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, Irvine, California, United States. He earned his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where he also completed his ophthalmology residency, followed by a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Tao directs the UCI oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery fellowship, which is accredited by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His clinical work covers tear drainage problems, thyroid eye disease, eyelid ptosis and malposition, orbital tumours and orbito-facial trauma, along with cosmetic eyelid, brow and facial surgery.
