Khaled Khalifa

Khaled Abdelrahman Khalifa is an eye surgery consultant in Egypt who specialises in anterior segment surgery, including phacoemulsification cataract surgery, corneal surgery and LASIK. Dr. Khalifa has been a lecturer of ophthalmology at Fayoum University and an anterior segment consultant at International Eye Hospitals in Egypt, and in 2020 was chairman of Experts Eye Center in Giza. Earlier posts were specialist of ophthalmology at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology from 1995 to 2004 and anterior segment consultant at Magrabi Hospitals in Egypt from 2005 to 2006. Dr. Khalifa has been a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and of the board of Egypt's cataract and refractive surgery society, has organised training courses in anterior segment surgery, and has worked as a consultant to Alcon in Egypt and the Middle East.
