Biography
Olivier Prisant is an ophthalmologist in private practice at the Clinique de la Vision in Paris, France. His work focuses on the cornea and refractive surgery, especially keratoconus. He has published clinical outcomes of an asymmetric model of intrastromal corneal ring segments for keratoconus, and at EuCornea 2024 in Paris he presented a two-step protocol of ring segment implantation followed by topography-guided PRK and corneal cross-linking. Earlier papers from Hôtel-Dieu Hospital and the Fondation Ophtalmologique Adolphe de Rothschild in Paris covered superior keratoconus, anterior and posterior corneal astigmatism, and pachymetry measurements after excimer laser surgery, and he co-authored work on ocular surface disease, including atopic keratoconjunctivitis and ocular cicatricial pemphigoid.
