Shady Suffo

Shady Suffo is an ophthalmologist in the Department of Ophthalmology at Saarland University Medical Center (UKS) in Homburg/Saar, Germany. Dr. Suffo has co-authored research on both the cornea and the retina, including penetrating and endothelial keratoplasty, fungal and infectious keratitis, keratoprosthesis surgery, endophthalmitis, retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane surgery and intravitreal therapy for neovascular age-related macular degeneration, as well as simulation training in ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Suffo supervises visiting International Ophthalmological Fellowship Foundation (IOFF) fellows in vitreoretinal surgery at Homburg.
