Suzanne Freitag

Suzanne K. Freitag is Director of the Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Service and Co-Director of the Center for Thyroid Eye Disease and Orbital Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Boston, Massachusetts, United States, and a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1994, completed her ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital, a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at Tufts Medical Center, and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Her clinical work covers the eyelids, orbit and tear drainage system, including thyroid eye disease, orbital tumors and trauma, skin cancer and eyelid reconstruction, ptosis surgery, blepharospasm and paediatric eyelid and tear drainage disorders. She directs the ASOPRS ophthalmic plastic surgery fellowship at Mass Eye and Ear.
